A Big Reveal: The Cover For Our Next Novel

Hello Readers!

We're back this week with news of an exciting development. We have locked in the cover design for our latest novel, An Educated Death. It took a little longer than expected, and we went through many different versions, but now we've settled on our book cover. 

That means we can 1) share it with you, and 2) start the process of printing for publication. 

Woohoo!

This puts us about five weeks away from release. 

We are absolutely pumped to get this book out to you and share the mystery with our readers.

Well, we're so glad you asked! Let us tell you. Here's our official book description:

Justin Pierce seeks a reason to live. 

A successful Department of Justice international special agent and son of a CIA Latin American station head, his career is filled with violence and alienation as he works on behalf of both the United States and Mexico. When Cecilia, an American special agent, captures his heart, his outlook on life soars. But that momentary ray of hope vanishes when Cecilia is killed during a brutal joint operation that leaves Justin gravely injured. 

He blames himself for Cecilia's death. Burdened by rage, guilt, and anguish, he flees to his beachside home in Seaview, California.

Despondent and disillusioned, Justin struggles to recover from his physical and emotional injuries. Demetrio, Justin's closest friend--a distinguished and zesty Mexican anthropologist, womanizer, and genius--steps in to salvage his pal from the depths of despair.

But death is never far away from Justin, and a body washes ashore mere feet from his seaside hideaway. The dead man is closely connected to Justin's sister Carrie, and he is thrust into the role of both the victim's paladin and his sister's protector. With Demetrio as his impish sidekick, Justin uses his connections to international secret service agencies to untangle a web of corruption, fraud, and murder in the halls of academia. 

Justin's unexpected caper in An Educated Death propels the reader onto a roller-coaster ride filled with thrilling twists and trials, as well as tenderness and humor.

In just under two months, you'll be able to dive into this mystery. We cannot wait to get it out there!
