Memorial Day Musings...

Hello Readers!  We trust your Memorial Day Weekend is relaxing and sunny...unless you're traveling, in which case you may be moving slowly and stressfully. With lower rates on airfare, hotels, and rental cars, experts are predicting air and land traffic will be at its highest level in 20 years! As they say in the upper midwest, "OOFTA"!  We're staying right at home in SoCal this holiday, avoiding the crowds and the lines. Of course, we'll also be raising a glass to honor the sacrifices our military servicemen and women have made to protect our country. Interestingly enough (at least to us), there is a Greek Goddess Maia as well. She's the mother of Hermes and Goddess of fertility.  Don't forget about Mother's Day, May 12th. If you're lucky enough to still have your momma around, make a plan now! Also, May 8th is Root Canal Appreciation Day, so, you know, plan accordingly. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, Women's Health Care Mon...
